Hanging out in the hood to catch the last few rays of summer before autumn officially rolled in. Gotta get the summer pix catch up done!

This critter hung out for a bit too.
This was a week ago after the smoke cleared again.
I told ya there were mountains back there!

One of the dwindling number of bees we've seen of late.

Another rare sighting, although this beauty is
probably around the hood somewhere.

This might've been the last swim at Mac Beach for
the year. Come on, Mum!

The water temp was perfect!

But I think I'll wait for the rolling waves to settle a bit.

Another stroll around Garry Point & Steveston.

I found a rainbow!

It's actually a ginormous kite!
I slayed this beastie terrorizing the village!

Lotsa pretty flowers around River Rock Casino!

Not quite the yellow brick road!

This was as close as I got to the casino main entrance.
Now I'm old enough, but not tall enough & have too
many legs. I say they have too many rules!

September already! We're on day 3 of another smoke-in from the wildfires in BC & Washington.

There really are mountains back there!
Interesting sky this morning with the sun trying hard to peep
through all of that smoke. It went incognito
again soon after.
The sun made a brief appearance yesterday morning
before disappearing behind the smoke again.
A very rare appearance of the sun early evening about
a  month ago during the 11 day smoke choke.

Kenji, my BFF came for a one night sleepover during the
Labour Day weekend. That made it not so lonely after my
favourite 2 legged cousin went home.
Just hangin'!

See Mum....I'm not the only one who sleeps like that!

That's about all we did....sleep sleep sleep. So Mum
didn't have to worry about any hanky panky. ;-)
I didn't get out much in August cuz of the smoke
from the wildfires. Then I had to take a break
cuz of a tweaked leg. And my fave 2 legged
cousin came for a visit. Yay!

Hanging out at Bark Park.

Gracie liked the chase.
Nice teeth, Buttercup! ;-)
Rare sighting of a Briard.

Another rare sighting.....a white pomeranian!
Max, the tank accidently ran into me & I had to
rest my sore leg for a while. All is good now!

Waiting to dig into the yummy berries from the garden.

Got my own bowl! I did share with Mum.
Thanks to Lady Bug for helping with the pollination!

I've been having so much fun, I haven't had time to share my adventures. Catch up time again!

Hanging out at Garry Point Park on a hot and
thankfully breezy day.

Yayyy! We were back at Mac Beach after a two
week hiatus cuz of a tweaked leg.

The water felt great!!

I prefer my ball & I don't mind the waves at all.
Good thing the humans reined in this 5 month old pup who
doesn't know yet that it's not nice to pounce on a dog in or
out of the water and chomp on an ear.
This gal just liked to hang out.
Coming through! I got out of the way in the nick of time.

Peek-a-boo!

Mum said I had to slow down so that I didn't
spark a fire in the tinder dry park.

A whole bunch of catchup stuff:
Hangin' in the 'hood.
This heron came swooping by during our stroll.
Nice cool rocks on a hot day at Garry Point Park.

Mac Beach

My first visit to London Heritage Farm.
It was a hot day so we didn't stay long.

Gazebo
The original London Farmhouse built in 1898.

Canada Day - The day after to avoid the hordes of humans.

These are pretty laid back pirates!

A quick romp at Mac Beach

Chickadee chicklets hatched
in our garden around June 10.
The proud parents.
I'm hungry!!

Breakfast!

At the end of May, Mum said we're going for a car
ride & a walk at Bunzten Lake. I didn't know we'd
be trudging through 8.8 km of bush!
The starting point of the trail.
Taking a water break.
Enjoying the beautiful view!

Another break.

The coolness of the rock felt sooo good!

A humongous and very old tree trunk!

More trail & bush........
And the occasional little waterfall.
Another break before the push to the finish.
GPS track of our trek
around the whole lake.
